A Reunion in Ukraine

A few months ago, a unique opportunity was made available for a small group of women who were part of the original HFL Ukraine team in 2004 to travel back to the Eastern European country. The team of three left Canada on Tuesday afternoon and arrived the next day to meet up with the HFL team leader who was already there. They have a busy 14 days of visiting and interviewing those who have been receiving aid over the past four years. In addition, they will also develop new relationships by making house visits and providing a dinner for those who need assistance.
