Community Transformation
Located in the Magwi County of eastern Equatoria, Sudan, this village is approximately 40 km north of the Ugandan border. Since the civil war began in 1983, more than 4.4 million people have been forced to leave their homes and many internally-displaced people have settled into the Magwi County. There has been little to no development in the country resulting in the southern Sudanese people being denied the basic amenities of life such as clothing, food, water, shelter, and roads.
Phase 1:
Emergency Relief-complete
Our goal is
to address some of the immediate needs, such as food, clothing, water and
medical assistance, which will provide a foundation for future long-term
community development.

Phase 2:
Orphanage
Our goal is
to build an institutionalized orphanage for 20 children providing a safe and
loving environment, addressing needs such as food, clean water, medical care
and education.
