Community Transformation

Located in the Magwi County of eastern Equatoria, Sudan, this village is approximately 40 km north of the Ugandan border. Since the civil war began in 1983, more than 4.4 million people have been forced to leave their homes and many internally-displaced people have settled into the Magwi County. There has been little to no development in the country resulting in the southern Sudanese people being denied the basic amenities of life such as clothing, food, water, shelter, and roads.

Phase 1: Emergency Relief-complete
Our goal is to address some of the immediate needs, such as food, clothing, water and medical assistance, which will provide a foundation for future long-term community development.
