Ecuador, Manta

Urban Transformation

Located on the west coast of Ecuador in the midst of a dry, tropical forest area, Manta is home to 250,000+ people. Manta had a history of thriving agriculture, but in the past 24 years, due to lack of rainfall, the town has turned into a desert and economy has plummeted leaving the residents to turn to crime and drugs to survive. Our goal is to facilitate short-term teams to travel to Manta to minister to alongside the Montanita Verde Children's Home and the Foundation For Love to minister to orphans, nationals and staff.
