Charlotte & Rich Tegtmeier

Teams and Project Services Assistant

Charlotte was first introduced to missions at age 3, when she accompanied her mum to an orphanage in the Baja California, Mexico. At age 16 she returned to the same orphanage on a youth missions trip with a missions facilitation company by the name of Stoney Creek Expeditions; several months later she graduated high school and moved to serve at the orphanage. The following 4 years were spent serving in and as the nursery supervisor, working with social services, and children with special needs.

Returning to Canada she began working with Stoney Creek Expeditions, leading trips mainly back to the Baja California and Haiti. She also earned her Diplomas in Early Childhood Education, Infant-Toddler Education, and Special Needs. Another 4 years were spent in this phase of her life, leading trips to orphanages, facilitating house builds, and carrying out VBS programs for those living without the most basic needs.

Charlotte has called Chilliwack 'home' for three years now and enjoys life with her new husband; she is a preschool teacher and also works one-on-one with children with Autism. While at this time God has not called her to be on the mission field, she feels absolutely blessed to be able to serve at Hungry For Life as she can, helping out in the Teams and Project Services department.
