Christie recognized the dream of seeing a world transformed written on her heart long before she recognized the author. Then in 1998, Christie and her husband Scott had their relationship with the Lord clarified in a huge way. They then spent the next several years delighting in discovering His handiwork in all areas of their lives.

Christie spent 13 years working in various positions for a large financial institution the last of which landed her in project management. Although she enjoyed project management she became increasingly dissatisfied with the purpose of her work. After a lot of research and prayer she began to seek an opportunity to use her time and talents to serve underprivileged people around the world. In 2009 God provided an answer to this prayer with the arrival of Hungry For Life in the U.S. 

Christie lives in Utah with her husband Scott and their three delightfully noisy children.
