Jackie Edinborough
Project Manager
Jackie has been blessed with itchy feet. In the last 10 years she has visited and lived in 12 different countries and is plotting to visit more in the next 10. She holds a Bachelors degree in nursing with a specialty in emergency. Being the eldest of six children has meant going through some very stretching situations. Managing that chaos has come in handy in many of her life's pursuits.
Challenged by an instructor, she attended Missions Fest Vancouver in 1998 and began exploring a passion for God's people all over the world. In 2004, Jackie was introduced to Hungry for Life. After answering a want ad in the BC Christian News requesting "adventurous nurses," she spent 14 months in rural Nigeria. Since her return, Jackie has worked as a volunteer part-time project manager for HFL.
At the end of 2008, Jackie sensed that it was time to test the waters of her faith; and she took some time out to consider her interests and passions. The decision to move into full-time ministry, and taking up the role of Director of Teams and Project Services allows her to continue to feed her passion for caring for her international brothers and sisters.
