Jackie Edinborough
Auxiliary Project Manager
Jackie is the eldest in a family of six and credits managing that chaos and her 4 years of experience working in a busy McDonald’s with feeding her appetite for multi tasking. She grew up in a Christian home, but had not accepted Jesus as her Savior until after going to Missions Fest in 1998, and being convicted with the world’s overwhelming need to hear about God and his amazing life-changing gift.
Jackie has been blessed with itchy feet; in the last 10 years she has visited and lived in 12 different countries, and is plotting to visit more in the next 10. She is a registered nurse with a bachelor’s degree and a specialty in emergency from the University College Fraser Valley. She got involved with Hungry For Life way back in 2004, when she answered an ad for “an adventurous nurse.” Apparently she met the qualifications as she served in Nigeria for over a year as field staff and liaise between Hungry For Life and the local partners. After six months of being home, she approached Hungry For Life about being a staff member, and obviously they accepted.
As well as being
an Auxiliary Project Manager for Kenya, Jackie also works part-time as an emergency room nurse.
