Competing in tennis nationally and internationally from a young age, Rachel received a tennis scholarship to Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she graduated in 2004. Sensing from a young age, God's calling on her life to international compassion work, she studied Commerce completing her Bachelor of Science in International Business in preparation to create micro-business opportunities within international communities. Professionally she gained experience in administration, business development and management with an international CPG Company. In December of 2008 she transitioned to gain experience building her own business full time and to create passive income to continue to pursue active involvement in international community development.
She has been involved in various North American community outreach activities and projects including: Food Collection and Distribution, Halfway Home Ministry, Street Ministry, City Improvement Projects, Senior Citizen Home Ministry, Prison Ministry, Native Ministry and Ministry through Sport.
Within the role of Project Manager with HFL, we identify and respond to opportunities throughout developing countries in areas suffering from extreme poverty, by building Community Development Plans to bring about sustainable change via access to: safe water, agricultural supplies and training, education, basic medical attention and micro-business opportunities. Plans are partnered with groups who wish to support the community to bring about lasting change. In so doing we share the compassionate, loving and saving message of Jesus Christ and continue to support growth through developing and empowering local leadership. Support goes to individual projects that are part of the long-term community development plans.
