After nearly 20 years of pursuing self and a musical career, Shawn, along with his wife Paula, met the Lord in a big way. Under the guidance of Mike and Joani Bell, they grew from new believers, into maturing Christians, going from volunteers to bible study small group leaders.
Shawn worked alongside Mike and Joani for ten years developing a renown worship ministry at South Mountain Community Church. Shawn is currently the youth worship coordinator there, and fills in as guest worship leader at several other local churches. He is also a general contractor, and has owned his own commercial and residential business since 1996.
In 2004, Shawn got to use both his musical and construction skills on a mission trip to Kitali, Kenya. During that trip, God planted the seed of just how fulfilling it would be to combine Shawn's natural gifts and passions into serving God in a bigger way. Shawn's position with Hungry For Life is the beginning of a new chapter, making an impact for Jesus and serving "the least of these."
