Haiti or bust....
It is that time of year again: Daffodils are blooming, grass is growing, farmers are taking to the fields and SouthSide is sending another team to Haiti! Tonight as everyone is crawling into bed, 13 people, led by Charlotte Smith will be boarding a plane in Vancouver en route to Haiti. The team of young and old, married and single will embark on a 10 day journey that will challenge their faith.I could spend a good portion of this blog outlining the ongoings of this trip but I leave you with a simple quote from a very famous SouthSide song, from Hillsong United:
"Break my heart for what breaks yours, open up my eyes to the things unseen. Show me how to love, like you've loved me"

My prayers are with you all as you travel to the people in Haiti who will welcome you with open arms and open hearts. I pray your words and actions of love will open their minds forever to Christ. I pray in turn these young people will then go out amoung their own people and plant further seeds for God's Kingdom!! Brave souls of SS our prayers are with you every day.
