Africa, even the word immediately brings to mind an array of pictures and images, and most of us have not even been there. In just over a week an intrepid group of adventurers will be leaving from Hillside Community Church in Coquitlam and going to the Eastern reaches of this continent.

The purpose of the team is to meet the people of Boro, a rural area in the Nyanza province of Kenya, and add on a cement block room to a local school. This is the first trip for Hillside to this community so there will be lots of exploring, fact finding and relationship building happening as well.

Please pray for a safe and uneventful three days of travel to our project, a successful project completion and vision casting into the next few years. We will do our best to keep this up to date so check back often.
