The day is fast approaching and the team is pumped. Tuesday August 15th we will meet for our last team meeting and Mexican potluck and prayer time and last minute details. Rick was packing bags last night, jumping on and off the bathroom scales with a duffel bag in his arms, trying to get it as full as possible but not over 50 lbs. Not an easy thing to do, but somewhat entertaining to watch, especially with a couple of dogs helping him! We anticipate having 16 duffel bags to lug around, camping equipment, gifts, crafts to do with the kids, tools, safety equipment, and oh yeah, a few clothes. They had a prayer of dedication for us in Church yesterday and the sudden realization came - next Sunday we are in Juarez! There is great anticipation - not just to see friends in Mexico, to be awed at what God has and is accomplishing down in Babicora, but looking forward to watching our two new team members experience this for the first time! It has and continues to be a life changing experience. Adios amigos!
