Church Reno's & Home Visitations
It was another beautiful day in Nikipol. The men and Mary went back to the church to continue building. It was frustrating and fruitful – it was a very up and down day. Andrew wants perfection in his work but with crooked walls perfection is not possible; God stretched him in this way. Other team members felt frustrated with the time it took to get supplies and feel they wasted time, however this is how things are in the Ukraine. Mary took her frustration out by playing piano and at the same time lifted the spirits of everyone. The Deacon is very appreciative of the work the team is doing. There is a little girl who has been hanging around the church and was helping to put the hand made washers and screws together.

The women went with Naydia to more home visits. They visited a young lady who is a widow and has a 3 year old and a 1 year old. Her husband drowned a year ago which has been very hard for her to deal with. A few of the other people they visited were paralyzed or had severe health concerns. It is very hard to see and challenging to know what to say. On this day Adel stayed back at the guest house and sorted out the remaining boxes that were shipped. She was able to get through them all and organized the garage.
We are seeing that God is working here yet there are still so many things we cannot do. The team is getting overwhelmed with all the things that they could do and all the prayer requests from the people here. We want to share the requests with you and hope you can share them with your churches and help ease the burden we are feeling. Please pray for:
The widows who have financial and health needs. Specifically Mariah who has been in bed for 32 days because of her foot.
The group of Babushkas who Nadia was brought together and built a family circle. They care for each other and are a daily connection. They get together and pray.
A teenage boy we visited yesterday has a brain tumor and is being taken to the hospital for treatment.
We met a family of 4 yesterday who is living in their garage and need money to put a roof on their house. This is the family that the last team helped to build the walls on the house.
There have been so many crippled people and people living in extreme poverty. We just want to help them all but know that we can't. It's in God's hands.
Pastor John is also running a fever and not feeling well. Naydia is feeling stretched and overwhelmed with all the requests for help. Please pray for health, encouragement, and sense of direction.
On a lighter note, some messages from our team members.

Hello Mom & Dad! (Bill & Marg)
First of all, Jakob's health is MUCH improved, and Jacqueline's foot is walkable now. Should be back to work this coming monday. We miss you terribly as do all your grandsons. And we all await your return eagerly! Church this past sunday was fantastic, and the boys really enjoyed their classes. It was nice being able to have all the boys in their morning classes (Cooper too!) while we sat, socialized and had our fill of morning coffee!. Again we wish you well and hope you are having a wonderful time!
We love you and keep everyone out there in our prayers!

Hello Bill, Marg and Agnes (and the rest of the Ukraine team). Glad to hear that you are an answer to so many prayers!
So you know - Hilda's surgery yesterday went very well. The docs put a stint in and today she is breathing well enough that she can be taken off the respirator. John is going in later this morning to see her.
God Bless,
Rob

We love and miss you. love, Margo
I laugh so hard at the picture of dad sleeping in his hands. Everyone thinks he's sleeping but I know he's really wondering how the farm is? Yes father the chickens are doing well!! Janelle got a main role in NBC and Brayden left for war yesterday so you can imagine the ups and downs around here. She asked me yesterday if it was possible that the heart could actually hurt? Must be LOVE! Hey by the way have I ever told you I hate chickens especially the kind that lay eggs. Love you both and I am so happy you are where your heart is. Give my two special aunts a big hug and a kiss.xoxoxo Karen
