Off to a Good Start

thank you for the prayers , we feel God is totally in the midst of all the things we did today. He led us to a foster home of 24 children and youth.
What a family! Both the husband and wife care for all the children. We met one of the foster daughters who is married with 2 children and lives in the neighbourhood. You could see the love and care between the three generations. What a blessing it was to see how content and happy they are despite their poor circumstances.

We were able to shop and bring lots of groceries, hygiene supplies and goodies. Shopping was quite an event as we had 5 shopping carts full at the checkout and every move was observed by security officers, staff and onlookers - it seems we made a spectacle.

The family was very grateful for these supplies and the way God continues to provide for their needs. Pray for this family and continue to pray for us as we visit more families tomorrow.

Hi team!
It's great to hear that your travel went so well. Thanks for all the pictures you are posting. Sounds like you got to work quickly and have already accomplished a lot. That's awesome that you were able to get groceries for the family that fosters all those kids...WOW! I look forward to reading the blog and seeing all the ways God is using you to bless and encourage the Ukrainian people. I will be praying for your safety, health, wisdom is use of resources and that you will continue to be a huge blessing to those that cross your path.
ps Ruth, I'm going to miss you at the office on monday!
lotsa love,
ginnie
