Quick Update
We arrived safely in Kiev and made it through customs with no hassles which is a miracle considering all the luggage we brought...over 400 pounds worth.
Mary and her brother Peter met us and we drove for 8 hours to Nikopol, which was another miracle since there are basically no road signs and it was the middle of the night...we had to stop several times to ask directions, including a policeman who sent us the wrong way. It was so great to see John and Nadya and to hear of how the Lord has worked since our last visit in 2004
it was quite a reunion for all of us! After a good night (and
day's) sleep, we tackled unpacking all the goodies in the hockey bags, including 182 brand new pairs of socks - it was better than Christmas! Our schedule is already pretty full after our first meeting this evening. There is so much need here - please pray that we will have direction to know where our help is most needed.
