Sunday - Church and Home Visits

On Sunday morning we had the privilege to visit the church where John and Nadia pastor. What a great time we had. How wonderful it was it to see so many faces of the people we had made connections with on our very first visit to the Ukraine. We each had the opportunity to say what God has shown us about this ministry since our last visit, and the impact from the visits and donations received over the last few years.

Ruthanne talked of how important each and everyone's soul is important to God. And even if God allowed us to be a part of the impact of just one person, it is so important. Edna talked of how life had changed for her. She had never dreamed that the next time she would come back to the Ukraine she too would be a widow. Edna talked of how God has shown her His Grace.
And, because she has received such a great bounty of God's Grace it is her privilege and responsibility to pass it on.

In the afternoon we visited a Christian author from the church. She blessed us by her deep commitment to Christ. We were awed by the people she connects with through her prison ministry. She reaches the unreachable just by allowing God's love for all people to flow through her. What a great time we had with her!!

In the evening, Ruthanne and Edna went to Victoria's home. She is one of the first people who were touched by this ministry when it started 4 years ago. What a wonderful time to see how God has worked in the life of this girl, and her family.
