Director of Communications
Location: Canada
You’ll lead and grow our communications team, managing the creation of our media and marketing materials.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or commensurate experience
Experience:
- People leadership
- Communications or marketing
Scope:
- Direct the Communications Department in all basic Communications functions:
- Providing daily administrative leadership for the Communications departmental staff
- Working with the Teams and Project Services (TPS), Mission Focusing Consulting (MFC) and Project Manager (PM) departmental staff to communicate project fulfillment
- Initiating, maintaining and updating the content of the HFL website
- Maintaining the MailChimp distribution lists and email campaigns
- Creating and revising HFL forms (all departments)
- Maintaining and controlling all video and sound equipment
- Managing the creation of all team videos
- Initiating and managing the creation, revision and updating of basic brochures and communications materials
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in general ministry tasks as required
Skills Required:
- Strong people leadership ability
- Exceptional organizational ability
- Competency in MS programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint)
- Understanding of design and video editing software
Accountable To:
- Director of Operations
Remuneration:
- Part-time / Full-time Supported
