About the position
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or commensurate experience
- Minimum of one year of Bible school / college / university training
Experience:
- Administrative and people leadership
- Familiar with labour code and practices
Scope:
- Direct the People and Culture department by:
- Managing staff from initial interest through to reporting for in-office duty
- Providing leadership to a staff recruitment strategy and overseeing its implementation
- Managing the staff interview and hiring process
- Conducting Support Team Building (personal fundraising) training, coaching and development for both new and current staff
- Providing general staff care and spiritual care as needed
- Initiating, scheduling, coordinating and providing leadership to:
- staff employment development (reviews, job descriptions, manuals, library)
- staff training and social events
- staff spiritual retreats and days of prayer
- International Partnership Training administration
- Overseeing general office management, including front desk reception
- Managing the People and Culture budget
- Participating in setting organizational-wide policy and implementing strategic plans as a member of the HFL International Global Leadership Team
Additional responsibilities:
- Attend board meetings when requested
- Manage staff holidays and sick leaves
- Participate in general ministry tasks as required

- Strong people leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong administrative skills
