In 2010 Beach Corner church partnered with ATEK to purchase supplies and materials in addition to funding an agronomist to help train 15 families on productive farming techniques. Since that time all of the families have been trained and have benefited from the program that has seen an increase in vegetables into their daily diet as well as generating a small income from sales to nearby villages.
