Community Care
There are many needs to be met for widows, handicapped, orphans, and poor families so the Nikopol Baptist Church created a project that provides assistance in medical care for those who cannot afford it, covering gas and hydro bills for those who cannot afford to pay their utility bills, and other unmet needs that arise.

In June we held a camp for disabled children which was the first one we have ever done. Two, three day camps were held in the “Revival “ church for children age 5 to 10, and 11 to 15. Each group had 20 to 23 children.

The largest shipment that has been sent to date went out early June that had 124 boxes and just over 7,000 lbs. of humanitarian aid. Majority of the boxes were shipped to Nikopol with a smaller amount shipped to the Orphanage of Hope.

We received humanitarian shipment from Canada, so I’ve been busy helping over 30 people with picking out clothes for them and their families. They are very excited and grateful for it. We also gave 30 blankets to the city social workers.

The father, Sasha as a non-Christian attended the Nikopol Baptist church 7 years ago. During the sermon he felt an overwhelming sense to leave the church service but ended up staying and giving his life to Christ.
