Medical assistance
Yapak, Philippines:
Many people in the community were needing medical attention but were unable to see a doctor due to COVID restrictions. One man had a ruptured ear drum which then became infected. Since Joven has connections to various medical practitioners he was able to get him started with A CT scan and lab tests so that he can get the surgery he needs.
Another young woman who was struggling with her mental health was able to see a specialist and receive the medication she needs. She has since then started volunteering with the meal program.
Another young lady starting bleeding heavily 5 months into her pregnancy and needed an ultrasound. She will be taken to another town for that procedure. Please pray for her and her unborn child.
A Pastor's wife with stage 4 cancer was able to get medicine so she can once again sit up and eat.
Joven was also able to assist a single mom by paying for medicine that she needed to help her ailing mother who has tuberculosis.
