The main struggles and urgent needs at this disastrous time are food for daily wages worker who have lost their job during this lockdown which has been extended and enforced since the last two months. The second urgent need would be med kits and since the daily wages of workers and many others have either lost their jobs or have no income during this time, are facing financial crisis and are not able to provide for their children education in schools.
Due to people losing their jobs they have had to sell their businesses, resulting in them having no source of income as they have no business or any money either. Therefore, we are praying to help support and establish around 100 men with small businesses or micro business and 100 women who are trained in tailoring.
For long term need, we have 135 tutoring centers where there are over 4,000 students being tutored every afternoon for two hours and these children are very poor and lack nutrition. If we can give nutrition to these kids that would be highly appreciated. Nutrition includes; a fresh fruit or juice, and bread and jam.
$96 provides for a family of 5 food for 1 month.
$10 provides a family of 5 with a face mask and hand sanitizer.
