Nikopol is located in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, on the right bank of the Dnieper River, about 100 km south-west of Dnipropetrovsk with a population of 116,000. In terms of population, Nikopol is the third biggest city in the oblast as well as among the top 50 nationwide.

Widow Care

Project status: Ongoing

Our goal is to improve the health and general well-being of bed-ridden widows by providing them with food, clothing, and compassionate care. Due to the lack of government social care we will hire widows as social workers to assist bed-ridden widows who are unable to look after themselves.

Ukraine has a multitude of social problems affecting the country. Issues such as war, high unemployment rates, poverty, lack of social programs, alcoholism, prostitution and poor medical care are all contributing factors leading to early death.

COVID Relief

Project status: In progress

Many people are without jobs. Middle age groups are suffering as they have children to feed with no government providing assistance. People in the villages have the same need in food because they are currently planting their gardens and used up last year harvest.
