July 2020 Project Update:
Widows, elderly, refugees, and single mothers
Poltava, Ukraine:
Since the beginning of quarantine, refugees, people with disabilities, the elderly have been requesting help. Country restrictions have affected the economy very much as many people lost their jobs.
"We had no opportunity to help them and because of this, our hearts were filled with pain."
With your help we were able to buy 50 food hampers and delivered 25 such hampers personally to elderly people, widows, and single mothers.
"Your care brought joy, encouragement and very tangible help to those in need. In Ukraine, quarantine continues. We prayed that the Lord would bless us with the opportunity to help unfortunate people."
We arranged a meeting for refugees, our youth sang songs for them and I had the opportunity to preach the gospel. It so happened that more of them came than we prepared food hampers for and even though they attended the event we had to let them go without food. We told them that we would definitely invite them when we have the opportunity to do so.
May the Lord abundantly bless each of you for your generosity!
