October 2020 Project Update:
Hugged me so tightly
Poltava, Ukraine:
"We have a heart full of thanks to all those who helped provide food and hygiene supplies for us here in Poltava. We praise God for you and how God brought you our way and thank you for all your efforts in providing these supplies to the needy of Poltava.
I (Michael) am grateful to the Lord that we have had the opportunity and privilege to personally deliver these hampers to the widows, single moms, individuals with disabilities, foster children and young families who were all struggling even before Covid 19 hit.
People were very grateful for these hampers, one babushka said she couldn’t remember when she last had fish or something to put on her bread. Another babushka came up to me who I have known for years, and when I gave her a food hamper, she repeated my name, Michael, Michael, and hugged me so tightly, she was so grateful for her food hamper.
I don’t think you guys realize what an impact these hampers have on the lives of these people. People are so grateful for your gifts. To receive these gives them encouragement and hope. I praise the Lord that I have had this opportunity not only to give out these food hampers, but also share and tell people that God loves them and that he laid it upon people's hearts, to send them so that they can show God’s love to you.
May God bless you all, during these hard times. Your help was extremely important in impacting the lives of these needy people."
-Michael
