Community Project:
Ongoing
Yogo Glory Centre Agriculture
Hungry for Life entered into a partnership with an organization called You Feed Them to facilitate the ongoing development projects in the community of Yogo.
The You Feed Them goal is to acquire 20 acres of land in the village of Yogo while identifying the best crops and crop rotation for the purpose of training locals on how to plant, harvest, and transport cash crops to the market. In 2012, YFT was able to secure a source of clean water by digging a well and installing a pump and drip irrigation system,
which will triple the number of harvests per year. The farm is projected to not only pay for itself in 2013 but also to be able to produce additional resources for other community
related needs.
