AIDIA
"An Interdenominational Association for the Holistic Development of the Apurímac.”
AIDIA’s aim is to present the message of Jesus Christ to Quechuas in their mother tongue, to reduce illiteracy and to improve quality of life in that region. Their strategy to reach the Eastern Apurimac Quechua people group is to build up and strengthen AIDIA thereby enabling them to reach their own people. They have recently completed translating the New Testament into Quechua and are currently working on the Old Testament as well as extensive literacy work to ensure that there will be plenty of fluent readers of Eastern Apurimac Quechua when the Bible is published.
AIDIA also works to train rural pastors and leaders from each community to be able to teach people in their communities effectively. The facility that AIDIA owns is their office and home base as well the place to host international teams and community leaders who will stay while they attend workshops facilitated by AIDIA.
