A team of 11 visited United Christians International in Haiti to work on a variety of construction projects and and hold community events. Several team members had gone before and were excited to go back and see old friends.

Singing all day long

What an incredible Saturday. Our morning began with an adventure through a nearby cave filled with bats and team building! Pastor Gerrod, our fearless leader, was called to help several of us over a small obstacle and we were brought closer as a family.

Backpacks and smiles

Today our Haiti team started the day off with an amazing breakfast prepared by our amazing cooks! After breakfast the team split into two groups, men and woman. The men, along with two women, went to the worksite and the remaining women went to a woman’s group.

As I reflect on another day gone by, it seems incredible that we managed to pack so much in so few hours. The experiences on this trip continue to fill us with awe and wonder at the work that God is doing in this country.

Beware, you could be walking for 4.5 miles and uphill both ways.
