Prayer With The Pastors

Hey super cool people. It was our last full day at ATEK today and it was a full one. This morning we started out by having our devotions with the pastors. We thought that we would be presenting the devotion we’ve been working through but instead we spent the hour praying for the pastors. It was really cool to see all the pastors praying for each other and we had the opportunity to pray with each of them. Although we didn’t know what they needed, we let the Holy Spirit guide us in what we were supposed to pray over them.

After breakfast we ended up running to the HomeCentre and grabbing some paint to paint the front wall. This was kind of a last-minute addition to our day, but it was so much fun to be able to bless them with a bright new coat of paint.

For part of the afternoon we got a little bit of a relaxing time going to the market in taxi’s which was fun. When we returned to ATEK we went and got pizza for all the pastors as well as the ATEK staff and their families. It was really cool to be able to share that time with them and get to talk with the staff.

Afterwards, we went back up with the pastors and got to pray with them. This time we were praying with them for any burdens they may be carrying with them and it was really amazing and cool to see how devoted they are.

Less than 24 hours until we board our first flight home. There are a lot of mixed emotions as we are really excited to see all of our family and friends but also sad as it has been a great trip. Pray for us as we are travelling the next two days and as well for strength and health as most of us are exhausted and need that strength to finish well.

Can’t wait to see you all soon,

PS. HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN!!!!!!! Hope you had a great birthday and can’t wait to celebrate when I get home.

PPS. Teigan’s parents, if you missed the last post, she really wants waffles and homemade whipped cream for supper on Sunday.
