A team from Chilliwack Alliance Church traveled to Abancay, Peru with Hungry For Life leader Kelly Edgeley and church group leader Chris Denis. The main goal of this trip was to build relationships with the staff of AIDIA, people in the communities where they work, and with the pastoral team of the Abancay Alliance church; to encourage them and uplift them. A secondary outcome of the trip was to physically aid AIDIA with painting their office building and accompanying them on a village trip to observe and partake in seminars and church services.

Community projects: 
Additional items accomplished: 
  • Tour of AIDIA departments
  • Formed and poured a cement pad for a tool shed
  • Caulked and painted the inside of the new meeting room
  • Hung 5 spotlights on the outside of the AIDIA building
  • Hung ceiling tiles for storage room roof
  • Painted the outside of the AIDIA building
  • Held a marriage seminar for AIDIA staff and Alliance Church members

One thing I am going to change in the next six months is to, "spend more time reflecting where God is leading me."
One thing I am going to change in the next six months is, "my consumption level will likely go down. I will ask myself, ‘do I really need this?' a lot more."
