Church on the Rock - Nov 2017 | Hungry For Life

November 2017: ,

iLive Cambodia operates two key projects: Stars of Peace, a program for children under five; and RESTORE for youth between the ages of 12 and 18. These ministries work to help build the family unit in order to give Cambodians a strong foundation.

Church on the Rock is partnering with iLive Cambodia and this was their first trip to serve in Cambodia. The team assisted in repairing homes for families living in poverty in the community of Prek Ho, and also hosted a youth camp for local youth to help them understand who they are in Christ.

Team Testimonials:

"My heart has grown but also is broken as I leave."
"I am coming to realize that as much as we come to serve, the people we come to serve end up serving us."
“I am coming to realize that as much as we come to serve, the people we come to serve end up serving us
“I'm going to try to listen for God—when He wants me to serve others at home and not worry about my own needs.”
“People here have shown kindness, perseverance and compassion. Those are traits that I hope to cultivate in me.”
