A team from Cochrane Alliance Church in Calgary traveled with church leader Yolanda Bosma and Hungry For Life leader Kelly Edgeley to San Raymundo, Guatemala. Cochrane's third trip to this area was for the purpose of furthering relationships by building a house for a family from the local church, continuing construction on the church/future school, running a basketball camp, running a VBS and spending time with local families.

Additional items accomplished: 
  • Basketball camp—25 kids at both sessions
  • VBS—45 kids first night, 75 the second
  • House—Dug/levelled foundation, laid blocks for walls, cutting & bending rebar, putting up forms for walls, mixing & pouring cement (4 walls were laid minus 2 rows in the front and 4 in the back.
  • Church—cutting, bending & tying rebar for the second floor walls. Pulling nails from wood forms, shovelling sand and gravel for cement.
  • Sorting clothes for distribution, clothes hampers given to several church families with lots left to be given at a later date.
