A team of 4 medical staff, including a doctor and a few nurses, traveled to Grand Goave, Haiti alongside HFL Team Leader Jackie Edinborough to work alongside our partners at Haiti ARISE Ministries. The team hosted an eight day walk-in style medical clinic to meet the needs of those suffering in the area.

Community projects: 
Additional items accomplished: 
  • 644 people were consulted for basic medical issues
  • 8 days of clinic visits
  • 100 people received follow up care during the clinic (including dressing changes and antibiotic treatment)
  • 1 family received a goat to help sustain their nutrition
  • 1 family is receiving formula to feed a malnourished baby (with follow up by the clinic doctor in June)
