Team Testimonials:

“This trip has raised almost as many questions as it answered for me—especially with respect to my role as an outsider coming into a needy country to offer help.”
“...What really affected me was being aware of what I thought might be slave children in the community.”
“It broke my heart seeing a man with an enormous tumor on his face and being told that he could not ever get it removed.”
“[One highlight was] being blessed and thanked by many of the Haitians for giving care. They were so genuine.”
“It’s been a rewarding experience to provide a needed service.”
“[I have been impacted by] the realization of a 14 year dream—the opening of Zanmitay Clinic.”
“[The event that broke my heart was] a mother came to the clinic with a baby she couldn’t feed and she herself was starved.”
“At home we get so busy with the day to day life that we lose focus of things that really matter.”
“[One thing I will do differently is] not complain about the little things.”
