Cranbrook Community Group - October/November 2016 | Hungry For Life

October 2016: ,

A team of 17 doctors, nurses and other volunteers are heading to Thorzin, Grand Goave to work alongside the leadership of HaitiARISE Ministries. Together they will provide medical care to the community, with ambitions to see some 800+ patients during their time there.

Team Testimonials:

"This trip has brought me back to reality of what really matters in life — relationships with people and God, not with materialistic things."
"The home visits were a highlight on this trip. They were very eye opening and impactful to see where people live and how community based they were."
"I've been changed just by the knowledge, appreciation and wisdom I've gained by being/working in this environment."
"When I had to say goodbye and walk out of the clinic for the last time broke my heart because I knew there were so many more people that needed our help."
"In the next six months I will consider well what I have been through and hopefully start to look at life as not an entitlement but a privilege."
"This trip has demonstrated how one change can cause a ripple effect. You help one person and they go back and help their community or their family."
