Crosspoint/Gateway - August 2014 | Hungry For Life

A joint team of 16 from Crosspoint Church in Salt Lake City, UT and Gateway Community Christian Church in Mountain View, Wyoming, travelled to Honduras to come along side the local pastors in the area of Rio Blanco. They worked in VBS programs, worked with the church on construction projects as needed, and explored a long-term project with this community.

Home sweet home

Yesterday we went to the beach to relax. Truthfully it was way better than I had anticipated. It was like one of those resort places u see in a magazine with the fancy pools and stuff. It was amazing to see the contrast between extreme wealth and extreme poverty with in such a small area.

Drenched in LOVE

What a whirlwind of emotions today!  Off we went early this morning to do our souvenir shopping at the market.  I had envisioned an outside flee market setting… NO! It was a huge maze of venders selling their wares in a building that I’m sure must have covered a full city block.
