Hinton Alliance Church - August 2013 | Hungry For Life
Team:

August 2013: ,

A group of 19 people from Hinton Alliance Church travelled to Guatemala alongside HFL Team Leader Kelly Edgeley. The team worked alongside Tono and Merari Rodriguez in the local community in Membrillal, helping build a school that will allow children who can't attend school the opportunity to do so. They poured classroom floors and an outside concrete pad for a play area. The team was also involved and served in the various ministries of the local Alliance Church.

“[One thing I am going to change in the next six months is] to make people more aware of how most of the world lives. If the body of Christ in North America all pitched in to help those in need, we could truly see the world transformed.”
“[One thing I am going to change in the next six months is] to spend focused time in prayer for the needs we have seen and to continuously commit to seeking out ways to help.”
