Leduc Fellowship Church - March 2018 | Hungry For Life

March 2018: ,

A team from Leduc headed to Seje, Kenya to work to expand the Glory Centre Academy. The team provided the funding for the Class 7 classroom and worked alongside the local Kenya contractor to construct both the Class 7 and 8 structure. The team also took part in some home visitations to local families as a means to build relationship and deliver much needed relief.

Team Testimonials:

"Singing with the children affected me deeply. It affirmed what I do in my own church."
"This trip allowed me to meet the amazing people of Kenya and also gave me the chance to see what God is doing there."
"One can't help but go home different than the one who left home a couple weeks ago because of the awareness of how so many other people live day to day. The challenge is to keep part of that in my heart."
"This trip taught me how to appreciate relationships more and how to break down cultural barriers with love and kindness."
"The pay disparity between Africa and home broke my heart. They make $2 a day."
