A team of 22 traveled to Membrillal to continue medical and dental clinics for the community. This was the third medical team that has gone to this community; a team travels every 6 months to provide loving and expert care and share the love of Christ.

Day Five- Keep On Keepin' On!

Today was day 3 of clinic, perhaps day 4 if you include the half day of serving the church staff and families. We welcomed residents of the local community to be served and to hear the Word of God.

Day Four- Hold the Rope

Today was another amazing day in Guatemala. We started with a church service and then we went to Membrillal to run the clinic for all of the pastor’s families. While they were being seen, a group of us went on a community visit.

Day Three- El Mercado and Superman

Today, we took a break from clinic and went to Antigua. It’s one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited. The narrow streets were made of cobblestone; there were two gorgeous fountains, two old cathedrals, and the peaks of two active volcanoes.

Clinic Day Two

Today was our second day in clinic.  We travel about 30 minutes by bus from San Lucas to Membrillal. When we got to the clinic we found people lined all the way to the street.  Upon talking to one woman, I found that many of them woke up at 3 a.m.

Day One- Open the Gates and Seize the Day!

Today was the first day of clinic. I worked in triage with Amy, madison, and Abby when the families started filtering in. The first trait I noticed about everyone was a huge smile and an obvious joy just to be at the clinic.
