A team of 12 traveled to the community of Yapak in the Philippines and assisted in various community development projects, including construction of several homes in partnership with Strong Roots Ministries. The team also assisted in various Typhoon relief related projects.

Last day in Boracay


Today was our final full day on the island. Everyone's suitcases have been packed, weighed, repacked, and double checked. The last breakfast orders have been sent to the kitchen and slowly all the lights are being turned off as the hotel quiets down for the night.

Fiesta Days

The day started like all of our other days here in the Philippines so far, with breakfast at 7am, except for one thing. The kitchen had run out of bacon. It was a sad day for some people, but the breakfast was delicious as always.

Travelling around the small Island of Boracay it is abundantly clear that there are nearly as many roosters as people. These roosters are a source of pride for their owners and are prominently displayed in the local’s yards, contained only by a 4 ft line attached to a roosting post.
