The team from Paradise Valley travelled to the community of Mirebalais, Haiti to work alongside our partner, FONSOPED as they engage in community development. The team participated in various ministry activities such as VBS and was immersed in Haitian culture. FONSOPED is currently completing construction of a Christian Elementary school providing a quality education to 410 of the poorest children in the community.

“[This trip has] opened my eyes to so many things — How powerful and incredible God is [and] how insanely passionate we should be/become for Christ...”
“[In the next six months I will] love on my community, live more simply and really seek God.”
“[This trip has] made me see that one person can help and/or impact another.”
“I realized just how inhibited I am in my praise and worship. I am too aware of my surroundings and people around me to fully give myself to God in worship.”
“[This trip has] shown me how easy it is to get involved. There is lots to be done. Pick a project and go.”
“[In the next six months] I am going to let the experiences on this trip change me. It’s easy to shove it out of our minds but then there is no point in coming.”
