A team of 5 people from Rosedale Church of God headed out to Haiti on July 13- 24. The team did VBS/ESL classes with students from the Haiti Free School and pastoral training with local pastors.

Just Give Me A Minute

Communication Breakdown

The hardest part about being in Haiti is the language barrier. It's ironic because we have spent the better part of a week teaching English and realizing just how complicated our own language is. Every conversation, either in French or Creole, is limited by my capacity to understand.

It's a Beautiful Day

Tonight we sit out under the evening sky and it is still very warm here. Nathan is sweating at 8:30 pm and we could be too, so, needless to say, we are not moving around too much. Today saw us continuing the ESL program for about 60 eager students.
