A team of 14 traveled to Caimen alongside HFL staff Gerry Stinson. This was the first visit to United Christians International for this church as they begin a long-term relationship. The team was involved in house construction and dental care as their primary focuses with involvement in many other activities such as: agriculture, welding and fabricating, VBC and drime outreach.

The work begins

Today is day 4 of our Haitian experience and wow have we seen God at work! Before beginning our adventures today we had a great egg breakfast and good devotional time together outside. Afterwards, several of us went down to the village for the first time.

Arrived...finally

Just a quick note to let you all know we have arrived at UCI safe and sound. Unfortunatley internet is not working too well so no pictures today. Hopefully tomoorow we will have better service and be able to let you see the amzing things that are happening here.

Answered prayer

The Lord is confirming his will of having the team in Haiti through answered prayer. The team prayed at the airport for one of the members who was struggling and God healed.

PATIENCE à Haïti!!!

Après un vol interminable, nous sommes finalement arrivé à Port au Prince hier après-midi. Jason Krul, pilote pour MAF (Missionnary Aviation Fellowship) a facilité notre passage à l'aéroport de Port au Prince avec nos nombreuses valises... Il nous en manque 2 sur 28, pas mal pour Haïti.

We are sitting in the Miami airport waiting for our flight to Haiti. At this point the team loves airports. We waited in LAX for three hours and now we are waiting again.
