Team:

March 2018: ,

A team of 15 from Sardis Fellowship returned to Haiti to work alongside our partner, United Christians International (UCI).  The team participated in various ministry activities and community development work, immersing themselves in Haitian culture. Some of their work included VBS with the kids, sports outreach, agriculture and construction projects.

Team Testimonials:

"I feel more compassionate and aware of the simple ways in which my actions can affect people's lives around me."
"This trip reminded me of how far my family and I have come with the grace of God."
"I now see the link between faith, prayer, action and God working, more clearly."
"I was affected by seeing how depressed Haiti is in all their poverty, and yet how friendly they are with one another."
"It broke my heart to see the kids at the nutrition centers and how the meal we were feeding them might be their only one for the day."
"This trip helped me refocus on Jesus and realize that none of this is about me."
"I have been given joy in knowing that there are people across the world that worship the same God as me."
