EVE - February 2015 | Hungry For Life

February 2015: ,

A group of nurses and social workers called EVE (Ending Violence Educators) from Abbotsford and Chilliwack headed out to Uganda to Noah's Ark Children's Ministry and His Hope Uganda at the beginning of February. While at Noah's Ark, they offered health seminars and went out into the community to do Community Health Days. They also fundraised for a hair salon so that the girls can learn a vocational skill. At His Hope Uganda in Jinja, they did similar activities, leading through Community Health Days with the guardians of the sponsored kids. The team was led by Debbie Davidson and Cori Jantzen.
