Silas & Kimberly Oduor
Silas Owiti Oduor grew up in a small village in Kenya called Yogo in the Siaya District. He was raised by Godly parents who pastored in the region. Silas’s personal relationship with Christ began in 1997.
Silas and his wife Kimberly met in Kenya while she was serving as a missionary at Ebenezer Life Centre Orphanage in the village of Ahero where Silas was also working. After being married in 2004 they began taking steps of faith with the vision of helping the less fortunate in Kenya, knowing that God had the world in mind. Silas graduated from University in Ottawa in 2006 with a BSC in Microbiology after which they felt the Lord calling them back to Kenya.
Their vision is composed of self-sustaining schools including; agriculture, water, medical facilities and support to widows. Everything would be anchored on the unwavering, unshakable word of God, and the church would be the foundation through which God would accomplish His work.
Kimberly was born in Canada and not raised in a family of faith, but came to know Jesus personally on May 15, 1999. She has a background in healthcare, holding both a P.S.W and D.S.W diploma.
