South Mountain Community Church - January 2014 | Hungry For Life

13 people from South Mountain Community Church went to help at the Orphan home in Terrier Rouge, Haiti. They worked on sealing the top of the security wall, planting moringa trees and teaching lessons that address poverty mindsets and false Voodoo beliefs. Their desire was to try to understand the Haitian culture and empower the children to make a difference in their communities.

What a reunion

What a long day, but it was all worth it when I hugged and kissed my Rosie. She remembered me her kisses were like how Maggie does. She told me she loves me and that I was beautiful and I reciprocated.

The team has arrived!

The team has arrived safe and sound! Rolling along toward our hotel for the evening. The weather is rainy and muggy but spirits are soaring. Happily hugged Elie, our beloved translator for the week.
