Voice of Hope Ontario - February 2020 | Hungry For Life

February 2020: ,

In February, Voice of Hope headed back to Kakamega, Kenya with a team from Ontario and continued their partnership with Everlyne and Martha. A team of 8 women were involved in women's health and safety teaching, widow visits and compassion projects, Bible distribution, sewing initiatives, and strengthening/encouraging the spiritual growth of these ladies. Several of the ladies traveled ahead of the team to assist in a one-month-long sewing teaching project.

Today we had a full day of visits, with three in the morning and three in the afternoon. Some of us played with the local children during the visits, as the presence of our van indicates to the locals that there are muzungu (whites) around and often the children come out in curiosity.
