There are many needs to be met for widows, handicapped, orphans, and poor families so the Nikopol Baptist Church created a project that provides assistance in medical care for those who cannot afford it, covering gas and hydro bills for those who cannot afford to pay their utility bills, and other unmet needs that arise.

So simple and yet so valuable
"Yesterday I was painting all day long and then had to travel to Zhovtneve. For the last two days I was hardly at home. Every time I was coming to the fridge I was overwhelmed with gratefulness, I look at it and admire it, I open it and can't believe that it's cold! It's so exiting! I don't have to cook meals few times a day, I can cook enough food for a couple of days, store it in the fridge and the kids can just reheat it! All the dairy products I bring to the market place don't spoil because I can store them in the fridge. So many times I would loose milk, I would collect from our cows just to find it all spoiled a few hours later. This fridge made my life so much easier.
I am very grateful for such a gift, first of all to the Lord and then to you. Thank you for remembering and blessing us. I am sad that I can't even in small ways thank you for your love and care. I can't convey how much it means to me! I've been dreaming about it for years. We really needed it and in recent years with all the difficulties we've been having a hard time to put anything away. We thank the Lord for those who gave finances, for those that brought them over and for the purchase of this gift for us.
