A Church Team in Kenya

A team of 7 from Hillside Community Church in Coquitlam, BC have started their 22-day trip to Africa, lead by HFL staff Jackie Edinborough. They will be spending time in Boro, a rural Kenyan village, building an additional room for the existing school, as well as bringing and purchasing supplies for the students. The purpose of the trip also involves vision; the team hopes to begin building relationships with the residents of Boro in anticipation of assisting in long-term community development.
