Mount Cheam Community Group

Mount Cheam Community Group

Mount Cheam Community group was formed to allow senior high school students to be involved in projects of lasting impact while raising awareness in their own community for the needs of the global community. Engaging student’s specific skills, expanding their world view, and caring for the needs of widow, orphans and the less fortunate is just a part of what this group hopes to accomplish.

This vision was put into action and a partnership with Manis and Judy Dilus and Lemuel Ministries in Haiti was established. In 2016 the first team of students travelled to Northern Haiti on a trip facilitated by Hungry For Life. Since that time Mount Cheam Community Group has stayed involved with Lemuel assisting with community development and construction of a school.
